Exploring Space

Space seems boundless to most of us, the next stomping ground for the world's future explorers.  To date though, we've sent only a few dozen robotic spacecraft more distant than Earth's moon.

There are about 3130 planetary bodies in our Sun's solar system.  Nobody knows how many are in the solar systems of the 200 billion or so other suns in our Milky Way galaxy, or in the 100 billion or so other galaxies in our universe.  And this just considers the 5% of matter in the universe visible to us humans, with about 95% being too dark to see. 

Clearly, we've only just begun exploring space.  Continue to explore space at these sites:
